Next is the ‘Installation Type’ window which will tell you about the amount of space that will be used by the software on your system and the disk that will accommodate the installed OS. Select ‘Install’.
Now, you will be asked to approve the installation by adding your password. Enter your password and click ‘Install Software’.
After that, there will be a few seconds of installation, and then you will get a completion prompt, which marks the ‘Summary’ stage of the installation.
After installing the MacOS Big Sur beta profile, a small ‘Software Update’ window will appear. Click ‘Upgrade Now.’
You will now see a ‘Install macOS Beta’ window. Click on ‘Continue’ to arrange installation.
The next bit is the ‘Software License Agreement’ window, which contains all important information about the software. Be sure to read it fully and only then click ‘Agree’.

The next window will tell you about the final source of the installation. Basically, where the installed file will be filled. If your disk is full, you will get a constant warning to free up space, until enough for macOS Beta to get into your disk. After you have enough space and there is a free disk, click ‘Install’.
The installation process will begin immediately. It can take a maximum of 5 to 7 minutes depending on your internet speed.
After macOS Beta has been installed on your Macintosh disk, and the software is ‘Ready to Install’, you must restart your system for a new upgrade to take the lead. Click on ‘Restart’.
If you have applications running on your Mac before the restart process, you will get a prompt to close all of them. Select ‘Close Other Applications’.
It is recommended to have a backup of whatever you were previously working on or important things that are open in one of the applications before you click ‘Restart’.
Now, your Mac will reinstall. Plug in your charger before restarting. The whole process of restarting will take around 30 to 45 minutes. Keep the charger connected at all times.
